What’s on this page?

The COPS Training Portal has established partnerships with various state-level organizations to ensure continuing professional education credits can be obtained by law enforcement officers successfully completing Portal courses. Recognizing that every state is unique in its mandates, internal resources, and reporting requirements and responsibilities, the Portal works individually with each entity to determine the best methods for meeting those needs. These services are provided at no cost to state organizations, local constituent agencies, or individual officers participating in Portal training programs.

How do I use this page?

In the table of state approvals shown below, you will find information on those states in which current approvals are in place for the selected course, along with the details you may need to know regarding applicable credits, course codes, etc.  The states are listed in alphabetical order, with the state-specific course approval information provided for each.  Use the state filter at the top of the table and select the state in which you are interested from the drop-down list.  The approval results for that state and the selected course will be returned.  Only those states with approvals for a course will be displayed in the drop-down list.  If your state is not listed, then no current approvals exist.

What if my state is not listed?

If you do not see your state listed, but would like to inquire about approvals by your state POST organization, please contact us by clicking on  the “Become a State Partner” button.   Complete the form by providing details pertaining to your request,  and we will contact you to explore opportunities for partnership at the state level.
